We decided on dinner here while staying at the Davidson Village Inn and we were not disappointed.
The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the Cajun Seafood Pasta and it was piping hot when it was set in front of me and there was so much food that I needed a walk afterwards to help it settle. My wife had the Club sandwif h (her default go-to if it is on a menu) and it was massive. It was fixed to order and I don’t think she finished half of it, and that wasn’t due to it not being good. Again, it was a massive sammich.
The interior of the tavern is stunning. From the beautiful artwork, to the old brick walls, and wooden flooring, our eyes were constantly darting around to take it all in. Ample waiting room to be seated and a well laid out dining area and bar.
Our wait seemed a little long for a Friday night with several open tables. This was the only real issue. It honestly may have seemed longer than it truly was because it was getting late and we’d yet to have any food since lunch.
This one is definitely a place that we will return to. The food was great, the atmosphere was clean and attractive, and the service matched. Please check it out if you’re in the neighborhood.
